Okay, maybe not.
How many of you guys prefer live albums to the original recordings? I always seem to prefer to hear a live version of a great song, than the radio version. Yeah, I know, it's tough to get live recordings of say, Into Eternity or Rage or Brainstorm, but there are some bands out there with killer live discs. Iced Earth, Symphony X and Edguy come to mind. Ooo! Vanden Plas has great live tracks too.

When I hear a live tune on the radio I spazz (in a good way)! Especially if it's something like Rush. Just something off the beaten path and a pleasant surprise. I'm not a huge southern rock fan, but for some reason those tunes always sound ok live on the radio as well.
