hey d00ds, mac pro question.

so Im looking for a used mac pro or power mac. Im looking at a quad core 2.0 ghz machine with 4gb ram and 2 250 gb hd`s running 10.5

buddy wants me to make an offer, but Im not sure what to offer. my budget is below 1500, but Im not sure what to offer.


looked around the used market to see what they are going for, but all I find are power mac g5s and the 2.66 ghz quad core machines :s

any thoughts?

yeah, its a little low, says the comp is worth just under a grand, although maybe that is right?

Nah, def bump up that price, I'm sure I read somewhere it's safe to bump it up between 10-15% but I came across it alot when I was looking to get my G5, which is now worth 240£ after 5 months! (from 600) So take the price with a grain of salt.

I bought mine back in September (same specs, although I have a slightly larger hard drive) for $1400 with apple care till october of this year.

Offer him a grand and see if he bites.

BTW, the machine is solid, it runs DDR2 ram though.
