What do you think of Ship of Fools and The Blood Divine?
The former are great warm-yet-rainy summer music, and the latter were Brit Metal's biggest hope. The next Deep Purple, even!

SOF is all instrumental, sort of psychedelic, a touch of prog here and there. It reminds me of Ozric Tentacles, but far less jammy and without the hippy quotient. :tickled: Not metal at all, but quite fun if you want a 'break' from the blastbeats. Not that Anathema wouldn't give you that too... :loco:

Ship of Fools supported Anathema on some gigs earlier this year. Les Smith is also one of their keyboard players. Danny Cavanagh also played guitar . Saw them at Bradford Rios. They are very atmospheric and inmmensely listenable.

Very amazing band! There cds are always in rotation!

If you haven't heard their music, get Lets get this mother outta here. Also if you can find their first 2 releases at a used cd store or even ebay (that's where i found mine lol). They are highly worth a listen to it could change you in what you listen to. I know that's what happened to me :p
