hey guys i need some serious help

so my parent's gave me my grandfather's old mandolin which is in rough shape for lack of a better word.

we're talking chunks of wood missing and cracks galore.

anybody have any idea where i can take it to see if there is anyway it could be restored?

Any stringed instrument maker should be able to help. Check for violins and acoustic guitars maker in your area. Chunks of wood and cracks are not a big deal if it is still structurally sound.
