I was just thinking (and by God it hurt, so pay careful attention, it'll only happen once), have you esteemed members of Dark Tranquillity ever considered either a UK tour or playing at the 'Bloodstock' festival in Derby, England? It's the alternative metal festival (i.e. alternative to Slipknot and Ozzfest), with bands such as Blind Guardian, Moonspell and others headlining. Just wondered if you'd ever considered it as a way of developing a wider fanbase here in the UK.
Cheers for the excellent music, can't wait for the next album!
Yours,
Ben (Dark_Jester)

Sorry my friend if I've caused inconvenience, its just one of those things...unfortunately, couldn't get into the chat session, and I haven't got a clue how else I could highlight the fact that the UK does somethin beyond Ozzfest and the Spice Girls...what can I say, I'm desperate to see em live :D
Again, sorry if I've posted stupidly.

the fact is that mostly bands can't choose where to play dude. I't not like them going to a festival because one band feel like!!!
the have to be offered to play there...that's why is really useless this sort of thread....
they gotta have an offer from the UK and the UK promoters won't make any offer if they think there's not enough fans there to get money from it...and even there the TourProviders (prolly CenturyMedia) will have to see if they can/want/think it's profitful to pay their way to UK....see??? not that it's really in the hand of the band!!!
