Just out on Vendlus records (yeah, I'm a whore for them) and it's not on their main site yet, so perhaps I might make everyone familiar MAYBE?

Press Release:

"David Galas (from Lycia and Bleak), returns to the music world with his debut solo cd 'The Cataclysm'. Over 70 minutes of darkwave and neo-gothic rock. 5 years to complete, this is his first release since working with Lycia. Expected Release Date is August 22nd 2006.

About:
David Galas is one of the former members of the darkwave band 'Lycia'. He has been credited with working on many Lycia releases including 'Lycia-Live', 'The Burning Circle And Then Dust', 'Bleak-Vane', 'Cold' and 'Empty Spaces'. Shortly after Lycia broke up in 2000, David began writing and recording new material for a solo release. After 5 years the Cataclysm see the light of day. The CD contains 19 tracks with a running time of nearly 75 minutes long.

'The Cataclysm' features 19 tracks with a total running time of near 75 minutes.
This release represents an assemblage of songs written and recorded between July 1999 and November 2005. It is to be noted that this work remains an extention of the Lycia sound, however remains quite distinct in its own unique style and vision.

Anyway, I just got it yesterday and it's really køøl so maybe at least some of you guys might be interested.
 
Sounds like something I might have been interesting in a few years back. Now it just sounds like it would be kind of boring.
