Hey Steve M., now that Scott Ian declared Casablanca one of his top 3 movies....

....will you finally check it out? You dismissed it when Jeffasin and I mentioned it being a classic.

I'm only here to enlighten the masses.
you're really funny Ty. where do you get this stuff? out of a book?

now that anthrax is on tour again, are you going to kiss their ass and buy them bottles of liquor?

or was that someone else at the Cleveland show in 2000?

and you're right. i only like shit that Scott likes... because i obviously wasn't a fan of Twin Peaks when Bravo used to play it all the time in 93 and 94. also, since i own no ac/dc and like, 4 kiss records, i must be a huge scott-stuff-lover-guy...

what else do you got for me?

I never liked Kiss. I only have like 2 ACDC records and they're collecting dust but whenever I hear them on the radio, I leave it on because they do rock and I envy the fact that they don't play all that well, 3 chord kind of band but they rock and do it well. Oh and I think Lord of the Ring sucks. I just can't get into any of that shit. Star Wars is way better but I'm not a huge fan. If it's on TV I leave it on but whatever.

Interesting...
By the way Steve, I was just f**king w/ ya, haha, eat a xanex with some soy milk and chill.

Alex: I think Charlie has some pretty cool tastes. The Beatles, Zeppelin, the Who - all the stuff I was raised on. I also like all that Brit-pop he likes, like the Smiths (when I first heard "How Soon Is Now" it was one of those life changing moments - just a killer song that makes you never forget where you were when you heard it) Depeche Mode, the Cure, and I don't know whether Charlie likes them, but I love Duran Duran.

Scott seems more into punk and hard-core, and I like some of that stuff. Husker Du, Ramones, Bad Religion, DK, and the Misfits is about my threshold.

Bush is more into the white trash 70's rock, which I also dig. Van Halen, Thin Lizzy, UFO, Montrose, MSG all that shit. That music is much more LA. I don't mean that in the convoluted "glam" sense, but those bands are more LA in that they are more geared toward cruising fastly in your car w/ your stereo cranked and your fist and head banging. New Yorkers are more content to sit in their garage or basement of whatever neighborhood they live in and just rock out.
They all seem to have pretty cool tastes in film. Charlie seems to be more into fun/fantasy/horror films, while Scott, for looking like some guy I wouldn't let pump my gas, is into some pretty good film and literature. Scott exemplifies the old addage "don't judge a book by its cover"

yeah, I've liked Dmode, the smiths and the cure since I was a kid. They were on the radio and had good beats. I'm embarrassed to say that I like early Duran too. I actually saw them in 94 for the Ordinary World tour.
