Sorry to hear you've been ill in the other thread.:ill::zombie: Seasonal crud is such a pain.

A little bass porn for you. I remember at NAMM you said you wouldn't want a lined fretless well check this new arrival out...

Can you say Oooooooooo? :p  :) :) It plays smooth as cream with lots of mwah. No on second thought it's MWAH!:loco:

Wanda loves a honeyburst finish so at NAMM I showed her this honeyburst one but she told me that she would rather a blank board.

This one and a cherryburst lined that I played at GC have given me mad GAS. I am one Email away from ordering one almost exactly like this one below, except a narrow neck. I actually asked the dealer if the HB was still at the factory but it is gone and no online dealer has it.
At NAMM I couldn't plug the HB in but at GC I was slobbering all over the cherryburst.:loco: :) That thing was so responsive I think my pulse was coming through the amp.:headbang:

Now I'm drooling. :erk:

Spiderman you must be on Hell of a Bass player, a big collector of Bass guitars anyway.

More somebody that loves to play, loves the instrument, and a gear slut that can't bear to pass up a steal of a deal. Playing skill, bah!

I would have to get a lot better to suck. The quality of my gear far outweighs any skill level I have.

Picked up a better guitar amp last night for $200 that sells new for $430.:headbang: Now I have 2 amps to unload. :erk: :erk: It may even replace my microbass. I'll test tonight.

You, my friend, have a sickness...

Well there are worse sicknesses. :loco: o_O As long as the bills are paid why not? Buy it used, try it, keep it or sell it.

I have bought used, tried, and sold, at either even or a profit, because they were not for me......
a Lakland Skyline 55-01, sold +$200
Peavey T-40, sold at cost
Fender Jazz 5 string, sold +$100
and an' 83 Stingray, sold at cost
G&L S-500, traded for my beautiful honeyburst L-1000. :headbang:
G&L Tribute L-2000, traded towards my red L-2000

So all that I am about even.

Drives my wife bonkers sometimes though.

This is mine... I just picked up a bass again after almost 20 years. I figure I kinda suck, so I didn't want to spend a lot. My wife got me this nice little axe for the holidays.

Oh you should see it when the light hits it... The fired maple really stands out and makes some very cool patterns. Of course this is the photo from the Ibanez website. I immediately put Rotosounds on it of course, and I generally play through a Pocket Rock It so no one else can hear how bad I am

Glad you are doing better Wanda. Looking a purty instruments always helps I find. :) Sometimes entices jealousy though. There is a guy in the Dudepit that lives in Germany and has a stunning JB-2 that just kills me. :erk:

Hey BassPhantom I know what you mean about the light on the blue flamed maple. Check out my Comanche. Sometimes it is almost too pretty to play...nah. :headbang:
