They play heavy metal in the most traditional sense and they play it exceptionally well. Some serious shredding is going on, but without killing the melody. Iuri, the singer, is one of the best I've heard! The guy has raspy powerful voice and can soar high, but not wimpy like most "power" vocalists!
He is the new vocal god to reckon with, that's for sure. The songs don't offer anything new musically, but the songs are catchy as hell.
My only remark goes to Piet Sielck's production, as it sounds sonically the same as everything he did (think Iron Savior or Wizard) and I find that sound very annoying and harsh. But a small price to pay...
