Hibria Blind Ride - New Album

The whole album is on youtube now and it shreds. I like it better than The Skull Collectors but still not as much as Defying the Rules but close. The most noticeable thing missing is the previous bass player.

Listened a couple times...this is my favorite track so far

I finally got my hands on this cd...I had read a really nasty review of this album from someone who claimed to love Defying The Rules and The Skull Collectors, so I was a little scared of what I might hear. Those fears were put to rest very quickly; Blind Ride is fantastic. I don't know what the reviewer was listening to (or smoking) when he reviewed this cd, but I think it rips. Hibria did not let me down.

I definitely have major concerns about the departure of the bassist, but I'll still check it out.

Defying the Rules was a 9/10 for me. Skull collector 9.5/10. Blind ride is an 8/10 for me. The bass player is sorely missed, but the song writing leaves me wanting a touch more every time I hear it. Doesn't quite have the "bite" of the first two.
