History's most beautiful classical pieces

Here's something influenced by Japanese classical music.

Is this thread for Western classical music only?

Brahms - Intermezzo in A major, Op. 118 No. 2 (MP3)
Beethoven - The "Pathétique", Sonata Op. 13, Movement 2 (MP3)
Debussy - Rêverie (MP3)
Chopin - "The Raindrop Prelude",Op. 28 No. 15 (MP3)

Definitely Dvorak.

His New World Symphony is my favorite piece of Romantic music, and it's one of the most epic compositions I've ever heard.

Is here any classical musics friends. I would like to find some good old & new classical piano/opera music. Something depressing and non-happy would be better.:Smokedev:

Blaah there is already classic music thread. Didn`t see it at first time.

um... alright... what do you like?

No mentions of Ralph Vaughan Williams yet?

"The Lark Ascending" is fucking incredible.

Archangelo Corelli => christmas concerto
Antonio Vivaldi => L'estro armonico's 12.concerto
J.S.Bach => Suite no.5 prelude (this one kicks ass!)
Jean Philippe Rameau => a harpsichord piece that i forgot the name but was awesome!

I personally find that solo pieces are more personal and would more often fall into the 'beautiful' music category..
