Thanks guys , yes I went off to suuny Bourke and left my poor wife to cope with fires .......every thing seemed OK at 7.30 on saturday morning of the 18th as we drove off the Orange to meet the XPT to dubbo . Michelle drove back to Canberra and was greated with absolute darkness at 4.00 in the arvo roads blocked etc .......... Whilst i was just poking along the road between Nyngan & Bouke 202 km of straight road one bend in it at byrock.......No Moblie coverage until just outside of bourke which was about 6 pm ....I rang her and she just broke down in tears as she was annoyed we had not rung.......Friends came around and put skinklers on roof , blocked drains etc and they set down for a sleepless night ........so it got pissed (did'nt on purpose) just a bit worried had few to calm the nerves next thing its 1.00 pm at night.... were pretty ok but lots of people were not .......
