Hollow Branches, one of the many projects in which Robert Hunter, Marius Sjøli (Formloff, Self Spiller), and Jason Walton (Agalloch, Self Spiller), are involved, have just released their new ep. Thematically inspired by dreams, insomnia, nostalgia and morning, “Anchored in Sleep” finds Hollow Branches expanding their sound with elements of progressive and post rock, as well as glitch. Drawing from a variety of influences including, David Sylvian, Landberk and Porcupine Tree, this ep is perfect for the cold winter days ahead.
