and i heard two songs from vehemence's upcoming... totally awesome

Just wanted to stop by and give you guys an update on what´s going on in the studio:

We are nearing the completion of this our seventh album. Anders has been true to form and blasted his way through the songs with surgical precision as usual. Michael laid down some bass devastation the other day with furious gut-deforming lows and ear-denying highs as a result.
Martin and Niklas have shredded above and beyond the call of duty once more with the rhythm guitars and are ready to further cast their spells in the form of leads and solos this week. Martin B is at the moment locked away at an undisclosed location brewing up potions of electronic wizardry, soon to be combined into a most volatile mix of metal.

Myself, I have been shackled in the vocal booth for most of this week and I will remain there for a few more days.
We couldn´t be more satisfied with the way things are going and cannot wait to inflict our pain onto others.

Things are looking dark, and we love it.

The Vehemence samples are fucking krieg as fuck. Better than God Was Created, IMO..."Kill For God" has a total Dismember vibe going, and Dismember rules.

2004 could easily be the best year for metal in a long time. Shit, since like 1990.

In all fairness... I think every year since 1999 has been awesome for metal... look at all the great releases... from The Gathering to Violent revolution... to Tempo of The damned to the next Death Angel... Halford... Overkill... We have been blessed with great music so it doesn't come as a surprise to me that this year is gonna be great since the five years before were also great!!!
