Al Atkins was a prime mover in the Birmingham blues rock scene of the late-‘60s, where he formed the supremely influential Judas Priest. His style of high tenor rock vocals delivered at full throttle created the template of the ‘70s and ‘80s hard rock/metal vocalist. Replaced by Rob Halford in ’73, Halford carried on and perfected the style Atkins had forged.

English guitarist Taz Taylor is from the Gary Moore/Michael Schenker school of shredage, and as such has done himself proud by adding vocalist extraordinaire Graham Bonnet to his group. Bonnet fronted Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow, and with them sang international hits “Since You’ve Been Gone” and “All Night Long.” Further stints in Alcatrazz kept the Bonnet legacy alive. Witness two of hard rock’s most over-the-top vocalists on one stage in one evening!
