Don't confuse things. We're talking about a progmetal band who has played ProgPower before and is now in a somewhat more "major" tour. It's completely different between being excited for ONE band on a package nobody would ever think to see, and being excited for a weaker package like the Threat Signal/Scar Symmetry one...
We're excited about ONE band, not the whole thing.

Good for them. I'm guessing they paid their way on the tour, but still, I'm happy for them to get some better exposure. I haven't listened to them in a while though. I stopped when they were issuing a track at a time, and it just didn't work for me. I like albums.

I'm not sure what stuns me more, that a power metal band is touring with scenecore bands, or that The Used is actually playing over WCAR.
edit: okay I watched their new video and it seems like Mindflow changed styles a bit and sounds more rock-oriented? I guess that makes a little more sense. Still shocked. Good for them! WCAR is one of the biggest bands in hardcore right now (top 20 album, arenas with Asking Alexandria doing direct support, etc)

This is a much smarter strategy than the crazy ass headlining tour they did a few years ago. They played a shitload of concerts in bars all over the country.
I guess ONE concert in this tour will draw more people than their entire tour did...
