IIIK! The house is burning, you`ve got 20 secs. to grab 5 albums from you collection before you have to run out. Which will you choose?

Now let me see..

[1] Nightingale - The Closing Cronicles
[2] Unicorn - Emotional Wasteland
[3] Moonspell - Irreligious
[4] Opeth - Morningrise
[5] Saturnus - Paradise Belongs To You

(and I would throw Kansas - LeftOverture and Vintersorg - Till Fjälls out the window, along with the rest of the Nightingale albums)

1. Opeth- Still Life
2. Dan Swano- Moontower (I compiled my copy with the Bloodbath EP and Country Girl and Melissa for convenience, I bought everything first!)
3. Echolyn- As the World
4. Porcupine Tree- Lightbulb Sun
5. Paragon of Beauty- Comfort Me, Infinity

In reality, only those I think I couldn't get anymore. But I assume you ment albums that I couldn't live without. That'd be something like:

Dark Tranquillity: The Gallery (and all the rest)
Opeth: My Arms Your Hearse (and all the rest)
Edge of Sanity: Crimson (and some of the rest)
The Black League: Ichor
Sentenced: Amok

And many, many more.

-Villain

Marillion "Seasons End" double CD remastered version
and spend the rest of the 5 seconds looking at it to see that I really have it with me...

*Sees some prick filled up his extinguisher with gasoline* Aww geeeez. :bah:

Ooookay let's see here I'll bring:
  1. Arena - Immortal?
  2. Savatage - The Wake of Magellan
  3. Symphony X - V
  4. Devin Townsend - Ocean Machine - Biomech
  5. Devin Townsend - Terria
  6. Strapping Young Lad - City
    [/list=1]

1. Lycia -- The Burning Circle
2. Tiamat -- Wildhoney
3. Tool -- Aemima
4. Dan Swano -- Moontower
5. Depeche Mode -- Singles 86>98
6. Opeth -- Still Life
6. Porcupine Tree -- Stupid Dream
8. Nightingale -- Closing Chronicales
9. Metallica -- Reload (just kidding)

I'd probably grab my Les Paul and my computer too... maybe even my micron pens

Hmm, it would be hard envisioning that my home is on fire seeing that I live underwater, but I will give it a twirl.

1. Nightingale - I
2. Tom Petty & the H's - Full Moon Fever
3. Depeche Mode - Songs of Faith and Devotion
4. Akinyele - Aktapuss

And, I would forgo the fifth and do my public service by yanking Trent's unconscious body from my bed. His future works are more important than his past. :D

"You can go wrong by being skeptical as readily as by being too trusting."
- Lazarus Long

I would grab my whole only_swedish_bands_here_CDcase and the following:

Madder Mortem-Mercury
Ved Buens Ende-Those who caress the pale
Ulver-Bergtatt
Drawn-PlanB
Solefald-The linear Scaffold

(and then i would cry for ages for the Cds i didn't manage to save)
I don't even want to think about it

Well lets see here:

Nightingale - I
Vintersorg - Odemarkens Son
The Black League - Utopia AD
Opeth - Orchid
Opeth - Still Life

Of course in reality I would spend way to much time trying to save my cd's and would die in the flames ;)

I guess I would die with my precious albums :), but If I would run I would take these records with me: (not in any order)

1: Dan Swanö: Moontower
2: Katatonia: Last fair deal gone down
3: Unicorn: Emotional wasteland
4: Lake of tears: forever autumn
5: edge of sanity: purgotary afterglow.

After thinking a few weeks now, I really don't know exactly. (Glad that no real fire started here. ;) ) But here's my answer. I would choose between the different styles.

1. Unicorn - Emotional Wasteland
2. Unicorn - Boxset (That's 4 in one. :) )
3. Johnny Cash - Solitary Man (this album contains really great music, not only that country stuff.. you should try it out)
4. Death - Human
5. Katatonia - One from Discouraged ones till Last fair deal gone down (The one I'd find the first)

Many of you had Opeth on their list. There are good, but I think I could live without them. But Morningrise is my favourite.

EOS - The Spectral Sorrow (the best death metal album!!!)
Arcturus - La Masquerade Infernale
Moonspell - Irreligious
Grave - Into The Grave
Dissection - Storm Of The Light's Bane

other grab my wife and i think it's:
Enter Chaos - Dreamworker
Immemorial - Monologue
Immemorial - Ius Primae Noctis
Luna Ad Noctum - Dimness Profound
(all because she doing vocals on these albums) :p
