the press. If he was coming back, the whole damm world
would know about it from MTV to CMT To Whatever.

This post might have been complete BS, but Mustaine has hinted at getting a band back together. And honestly, I wouldn't mind getting rid of Al either, he pisses me off with his "I brought Megadeth back to its metal roots" shit even though we all KNOW Dave Mustaine wouldn't let people fuck around with his music. Anyway, back to the reason that I'm posting...This is direct from Megadeth.com so I'm hoping he's changing his mind about backing out of Megadeth and the music scene completely.

Remember the proyect of ex-megamen also know as "Megadeth 2"? Well it's still on course. They (MartyFriedman, David Ellefson, Al Pitrelli & Jimmy DeGrasso) are together yet and looking for a suitable singer

no word on dave yet he is still nurseing the arm and according to www.megadeth.com "he is getting better everday"
 
I agree with LYNDRODIOUS about Al P.
Not too mention he had the total rock star attitude when I met him and Dave E on the last tour.
I hope if Dave does bring back Megadeth he gets himself a cool lead guitarist like Glenn Alvelias or someone like that. Nevermind all these posers he keeps enlisting.
He needs to write some killer thrash riffs again too.
I have confidence in him to put out a great album again.
The last one I bought was Countdown and I wasnt too pleased with it. The World Needs a Hero had some decent tracks on it and the tour was the best since the Rust in Peace tour.
