I just dl the new Psycroptic today cuz I hear how amazing they are. It'll take a few more listens to acclimate myself with all the stuff going on, but this is some really fucking terrific stuff here. The guitarist is amazing and just blasts through riff after riff after riff. They would be better however if the songs were more cohesive....but that is only after one listen and this stuff is pretty damn ridiculous. I will prob end up ordering it if it grows on me as planned.

you would be surprised of all the metal albums we have in our HMVs. Quebec City has a lot of metalheads (not called capital of metal for nothing duh) and in one particular HMV (Place Laurier) there's a complete wall (20 feet long?) for the metal section. You can find Summoning, Bal-Sagoth, Woods Of Ypres, etc. in there.

hehe. It's pretty particular to Quebec City but Montreal is getting more and more metal albums I heard. But in that HMV I was talking about, I found a lot of albums there that I couldn't even find on TER.
