Ya know, to be completely honest, I've been homeless before.. And I've lived in my fair share of a LOT of places.. But this forum is the only place I've ever truly called home, hah!

News, was able to talk with my parents enough into letting me stay with them until further notice about a week ago.. As you may have noticed me posting a lot more often . Got hired with a temp agency a block away from the apartments, and the 1977 (p.o.s) Gibson SG I had been playing on finally decided to push daises and split into two pieces at the headstock.

Needless to say, I now have a base of command, some sort of stability, and some food to fuckin' eat

So, I'm back!

^ Well, my guy just sent me a small 30 second clip of him just fucking around, getting a feel for a couple parts. He explicitly told me not to share it with anyone cause it was a dry run of a part and he doesn't even know all the words to it yet but I can say this, I got hard listening to it

i was homeless for awhile... only remember it in flashes... was about a year, all told. i was sick... dying actually... during that time.

i was also losing my memory, my mind, my vision, everything i owned and had worked for, and worse... my friends and family who didn't understand what was happening to me. it was all slipping away, slowly. horrible time, shitty memories.

What's not to be understood when someone is sick?

I believe the problem (correct me if I'm wrong) was that nobody, including James, knew he was sick until his family took him in for an eye exam and the docs figured out something bigger was going on. They had all but given up on him.

I really hope it's sounding as good as you say, man. The unfinished CD has been killing me. Just had a couple other prospective vocalists fall through, too. It sounds like your guy knows what he's doing though.

Its when i hear things like this i am GLAD to live in Sweden(Where you have to WANT to be homeless to become homeless.).

yeah, same thing in Finland. The social security is astounishing, but for a reason; considering that we both get like super cold winters, being homeless would kill like every homeless people each winter.

I have a really good feeling you're gonna be happy ... all I'll say is this; be patient. He doesn't work slow or anything but he's got a hectic schedule plus your music is pretty involved. You've been waiting to be able to finish your cd, don't let that start taking over your thoughts. If you like what he does in the tune you sent, rest assured he will sing his ass off to make sure everything sounds great.

And I wasn't kidding about what I said to Jesse ... the clip I heard of him just getting his sea legs with your tune (mind you it was also after a joint and a couple beers) gave me wood. Once he's got the melodies and lyrics committed to memory and he can focus solely on the performance, its gonna fuckin kill
