ummm I was agreeing with you? I love powertab, it makes learning things like meshuggah and nevermore and tons of other really difficult band material about 50x times easier to learn. And tab books are usually transcribed by retards the MPA is just a bunch of greedy lobbyist.

Eh, I'm not saying Powertab.net was the be all end-all, but everytime I can't find something on UG, I head to 911 and usually it's in Powertabs.

Kills any video-game tabs I've been looking for because UG is absolutely terrible for that.

It was pretty hilarious, I opened this one book licensed by the MPA that wasn't by Page when I was browsing through a store (for the record I don't even like Zepplin that much).

The tabs were completely wrong, just fucking ghastly.

Weird, every tab I've downloaded minus Jason Becker's "Air" have been 100% accurate.

Edit: Also Mediterranean Sundance Ancherio, but it was just in a different place. Found the right tab on UG after watching videos of Al Di Meola playing. Fucking nobody can tab Paco de Lucia's part though.

Yeah, many "official" tab books have wrong fingerings and shit. I'm not saying tabs are bad by the way, just saying you should use them after you have made an attempt to tab by ear.

After you've tried learning them by ear? I think their a great tool for getting the gist of a song and then making corrections wherever necessary.
