Reb Beach! WHAT A FUCKING GUITARIST! I think I have a new entry into my coveted top 5, because that guy is amazing!

Go get Erase The Slate (Dokken), now. NOW! :headbang:

I could never really get into Powerslave because all the best songs were on LAD, and they were better live. So I never listened to it as much as the other albums.

SSOASS is overrated tosh. Has one great song (The Evil That Men Do) and a bunch of average ones (by Maiden standards).

Their debut and AMOLAD are the only albums without dud tracks IMO.

Indeed. Alexander The Great is great. :p

SSOASS is one of my least fav Maiden albums as well, but it has lots of good stuff on it. Moonchild, Infinate Dreams and The Evil That Men Do are all classic, and I love Only The Good Die Young as well. Can I Play With Madness is shit, I hate it.

NPFTD has one of my top five Maiden songs, Hooks in You. I love it.

Methinks I smell a survey coming on. Will do it when I get home.

I think if you got the best from No Prayer and the best from FOTD and put it on one CD, you'd have a great album.

No Prayer would be very good if it wasn't for two tracks I really, really don't like - Holy Smoke and Mother Russia. Otherwise it's great. It's like Virtual XI in that it's ruined by some dodgy songs but has some real gems which go unnoticed because of the overall reputations of the albums.

The music in Mother Russia is godlike, is one of my favourite songs to play. It could have been one of the best instrumentals ever. I think the vocals ruin it a little, but it still rocks.

I don't like the album versions of Tailgunner, Holy Smoke or The Assassin, but have live versions that really rip, particularly Holy Smoke.

It's the music in Mother Russia that I don't like. I don't even listen to the vocals. I just can't stand the song, never have, never will. Probably my least favourite Maiden song after The Apparition.

I like Holy Smoke, maybe i forced myself to like it back when the video was released but that was a good laugh..
