The part in question is specifically at .44 (dunno how to reference that in a youtube vid)

Specifically, how do you glue doubled vocals together like that? Mine always sound really wrong even after pitch correction.

There's a plugin called VocALign, or you can edit things together syllable by syllable.

I would say vocalign but to be honest this clip that you showed us does not sound like vocalign at all (unless Andrew Wade off set the layers)
This just sounds like really tight track and elastic audio.

Hey if youre still curious about this, what I usually do is triple the main vocals and double the backup vocals. Then I melodyne them, match them up, and put them on beat (in melodyne). Then I match them up again using vocalign so they're absolutely perfect. Add a touch of verb and delay and your good!
