How do you execute this harmonic technique?

he does a vibrato, in the comments what he's doing with his right hand is said to create a harmonic one octave lower. Can someone explain in greater detail how to do this?

its just a pinch harmonic i believe.

So, you think he's just muting the strings? That vibrato is pretty wide.

I don't here any harmonic at all.

Its just a wide vibrato with alot of treble in the tone.

He's not doing anything.

I do something where I use my thumb to raise it an octave, but if that's what he tried to do, he didn't.

Okay, gotcha. Cause I like that wide vibrato and use it a lot, and I just mute the strings with my palm. I just thoguht he might be doing something more. Oh well...
