How does PC Deathsquad gain international fame

Dude, I've heard your band and think you guys could do very well in the heavy music scene(by the way, as soon as I get some more work, I'm gonna send ya money for the cd, I'm a studio engineer so sometimes work can be few and far between). My main thing is, and I've noticed this a lot working with bands..........

A lot of bands from where I am from are stingy, cause as you said, we have to work 9-5 jobs. They absolutely WILL NOT give anything away for free, which you shouldn't give a whole album for free, BUT, go to best buy, have each person chip even just 20 bucks on cdrs, put 3 of your best songs on it, got to every remotely heavy show you can and give em away outfront after the show, cause lets face it, passing out flyers doesn't fucking work unless you're already established in the local scene. Just make sure you're shits copywrighted and thats a sure fire way to get some exposure. Also, as much as this pisses people off, Spam boards with your bands site, if its a bands site I'm into they post it on, I usually always check it out.

Pretty much, keep doin what you guys are doing. It is so fucking hard to find the right people to form a band. I'm from St. Louis, so there is virtually no local metal scene, and the bands who claim metal or hardcore are just the crap thats passed off as metal these days. So when I see a good one bitching at each other over small crap(not saying you are, just what I witness as an engineer)it pisses me off. Of course everyone wants a record deal and not have to work anymore(as much as some won't admit it)then piss it away.

Sorry for that ramble, just promote, promote, promote, and dont be afraid to put some money into it, even if its as small as the above mentioned thing, you've got a more kickass band then most of the crap thats out there in the heavy music field, so keep it up. If it would come easy, it would be too good to be true. :headbang:

awesome we are definitely going to more than likely get a spindle of 4 song cds pressed, not burned but actually pressed without jewels, we can put em in the plastic with a two sided card just for that very reason to promote our asses off.

I'll support ya man. I tried to buy one of your cds but when I hit your email it made my computer freak out. Can you send me a Paypal bill and I'll pay for a cd? I haven't heard a lick of your music but you seem pretty cool and your lyrics are fuckin funny. So for $10 bucks I'll take a chance. Just send it today because I just got paid and I usually find ways to spend my cash quick on cymbals, cds, porn, beer:kickass: , cigs :Smokedev: dvds and of course the inevitable house payment and other bullshit bills.

Good post, I have been working with a few bands, booking and promoting. I tell them all have some CDs pressed and give them away, have some cheap (not too cheap) T-Shirts made and sell them for cost at shows and give them away... the more people that see other people walking around with PC Death shirts on, the more people will wonder who is PC Death? Shit like that, some free shows ,opening for some bigger bands are all ways to get more people into your band.
Its an investment, but if you do it right your following will grow and with that CD sales will pick up as well as people accually paying you to play shows....By the way if yall ever get to the east coast message me and let me know I can get you in most of the good clubs here in VA.

amen, ive lost so much money on my band from burning and GIVING out demos, and i dont give a fuck cause people are hearing my shit.

funny shit is when bands SELL demos, no one wants to PAY for your shitty 3 songs.
