How d'ya headbang?

My hair doesn't really move when I headbang because I don't have long hair (yet), but right now kinda like Mike during the beginning of Master's Apprentices on Lamentations. Just brutally up and down, sometimes I try and go side to side or windmill it but my hair ends up moving retardedly because like I said, my hair's not long yet

3 years ago i had it as long as Mendez and banged in all directions, went completely crazy.

now i'm a pussy and i have short hair but i'm planning on growing it long again.
Even though when i'm taking a shower listening to opeth i pretend i'm mendez and headbang like he does.

Side to side, up and down, and occasionaly windmill, sometimes i move my head down a little when going side to side vaguely u shaped

I go diagonally... red hair looks coolest in my opinion when headbanging. Sometimes I do "windmills" (I call them head spinning manuever things) , and sometimes when a really fast song is playing, I do really fast and short headbanging. Headbanging really doesn't mean anything... why do people do it? Why do I do it? Only one person knows. (calls up Trey Azagthoth)

I have very short hair, but still headbang really hard - I find myself trying to make up for having no hair to move around (I think it's good exercise - I have a really well built neck that can only be due to headbanging!).

When I'm playing (mostly bass), it's almost enjtirely up and down. A little different though. I stick 1 leg forward, 1 leg back, lean forward, and headbang with my whole upper body.

When I'm not playing an instument, like at a show, I still mostly do up and down, but sometimes windmilling.

Just a small up and down nod (hard and fast, but small up/down distance). This 45 year old head can't take all that jostling in the brain.

I knee down, put my hands on my knees and try to get as deep with my head as I can. Sometimes I do the windmill but when I wake up the next morning I just ask myself: "Why...?" :erk:
