I think they went downhill after "Burn My Eyes", but their new album is better than their last two albums.

Machine Head are fuckin amazing. The new album is some of the best metal Iv heard in a long time.

What I've heard from the new album is actually fairly good, but Burn My Eyes will always remain their classic.

I never listened to them other than the brief time when I was a dj for a college radio station. They sounded pretty good to me.

Burn My Eyes and The More Things Change are classic albums. The new one is quite good, but not revolutionary like the first tow.

The Burning Red sucked shit, and Supercharger was only marginally better.

They used to be pretty brutal and impressive back in the day.

"Burn My Eyes" and "the More Things Change" are quintessential modern thrash metal classics in my eyes.

They never were able to top those two seminal records.

I don't see how anyone who liked the first two wouldn't like Through the Ashes of Empires. Unless of course it's too much a throwback to their older material, which I disagree with, but a case can be made.
