I've been watching on the news about the fires, and have checked on the internet about their specific locales. It seems many on this forum may be in an evacuated area. So if you are, though you will likely have other priorities for the next few days, please let me and the rest of us at this forum, know how you have been affected when you can, and let us know if and when you're safe.

I'm just outside of L.A., but have family and friends in a few of the affected areas. So far, everyone is safe. At last check with my sister in Fillmore, there was a voluntary evac order in place, but I haven't heard anything for a little over an hour.

My thoughts and prayers are with all who have been affected by these fires and the emergency crews who are fighting them.

I got to go home early today since the fire was within 2 miles of my work in Lake Forest.
