The name is nerdwerld, but you can call me nerd if you like. I am by the name, a nerd, a geek, a metalhead and whatever you want to call me. Metal has been my calling for sometime now. But, it isn't the only thing I listen to. However, 90% of the time I am listening to metal/hard rock in some shape or form.
Interesting things about me include that I was born premature, work as news director at 918thefan an asian music radio station, and trying to start an Indiana based promotions and productions company. (I tried to make this interesting information and not so much self-promotion)
Primarily I listen to melodic types of metal such as power metal, symphonic metal, progressive metal, thrash metal, folk metal, and classic heavy metal. But, I like me some melodic death and black bands not to mention I prefer Polish Death Metal over Florida death metal.
Some of my favorite bands include: Dio, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Testament, X Japan, Sigh, Decapitated, Soilwork, Aldious, Bridear, A Sound of Thunder, Primal Fear, Masterplan, Kamelot, Epica, Nightwish, Seventh Wonder, Overkill, Testament, Saxon, Powerwolf, and Evergrey just to name a few.
