My bassist was mad until he saw that you said 99%. He doesn't like being lumped in with bassists like you described, as he tries his damndest to be nothing like that. It's is so true. Last time another band I'm in tried to record, the bassist REFUSED to record to a click. It went as well as you'd expect. He isn't pulling that shit next time.
