But i don't trust in any brands..... i want to know how to recognize some technical specification by myself...

I'm sorry if there's a thread already...

Thanks Guys

Well for speaker cable, generally the thicker the better (the lower the guage, the thicker the wire, though for a guitar amp to cab, you shouldn't need any more than 12 ga.) - but otherwise, I just trust brands that I know are good, such as Mogami, Canare, Dayton (in that order) with Neutrik or Switchcraft connectors, or Planet Waves if you wanna go the pre-assembled route.

you forgot Belden...... ;)

For guitar cables, the capacitance will affect the tone. Particularly in longer cables. A lower capacitance cable (usually listed in picofarads per foot, or meter) will sound brighter.

Thank you very much guys.... that will be helpfull..... and i think i need to be more trustfull in brands....hehehe

If you need a bunch of different sized, high quality cables (say for a rack or pedal board setup), go with George L's; solderless and pain free.

Geoge L's FTW!!!! But ditch the quick connects for some soldered plugs.

Don't get caught up on the thicker is better thing though. Cables act as a capicitor. Sometimes your guitar/amp combo might benifit from a skinner cable, sometimes from a thicker cable..... It's all in what you think sounds better.
