sup dudes, the other day i tried to use my randall 75r as a head by taking the headphone output and directly injecting it into my interface then in my DAW adding an impulse to the signal, I got a sick tight sound but the only problem was that every time i played my computer monitor would be affected like going fuzzy?

I wonder if one of you could tell me where Im going wrong?

Im probably doing something really retarded lol

I don't know, but to me if you use the headphones output, the signal probably already has some sort of speaker simulation going on, I doubt the headphones monitors only the preamp section, thus not needing IR.

Nah Simon, I'm pretty sure that headphone outputs on most amps are just raw signals that output to a 1/4 plug. At least it was on a cheap practice amp I had haha.

I think you'd be better off using the fx send rather than the headphone output. The HP out is a powered output expecting a load from a pair of phones, whereas the fx send is a line level out, which is what your interface is expecting.

hmmm, i mean it works fine but the static noise thats affecting my monitor is rather strange. My interface is really close to my monitor but why should that make a difference when it has no link to my monitor?
