How wealthy are the members of Opeth?

I dont know for certain exactly how wealthy they are, but each member has 2 homes in Sweden, as well as various estates across Europe.

Mikael also has a condo in the Caribbean, & Peter has a mansion in Fairfield County, Connecticut (AMerica).

The latest edition of "Motor Trend Magazine" (an American automobile publication) has an article on "rock stars & their 'wheels'". There's a 5 page spread featuring Mikael of Opeth & Justin Timberlake of that boy-band each showing off their collections of hot cars! Mikael currently owns 34 vehicles, including two vintage 1960s Ferraris (each worth well over $150,000)!!!!!!

Actually, contrary to what people think, most bands barely break even on tours, etc... They just do it for the love of the music. I'm sure it pays for itself so they don't put anything out of their pockets to make music, but it doesn't earn them any money. Day jobs do that.

well, in the kerrang prog issue, there was a 3 page interview with mikael, and he said that with the 2 new albums, they were on the contract as one album, and he said that they were going to lose money by doing it. i like it when its about the music.
