how would you call your band?

I would call a band made by myself "Thron", it's the german for "throne" which is quite easy to see

otherwise I'd call it "Tranquil void", but this is very close to "void of tranquillity" so I'd prefer the other-one.

I always kinda fancied the name "Dark Sinfonia", back when I had the idea of doing classically-inspired doom. My approach to writing has changed alot since then, so it doesn't really fit anymore. If I ever get off my arse and make a decent recording of my songs, it'll probably be under the name "Doomed To Solitude", which I like because, well, it's doomy , and I have been unable to find a band so it's just me playing everything, hence the solitude part

I always thought Minus would be the most perfect name and marketing scheme. Thats untill someone took it. The shirts could just have a simple slash across the front, nothing fancy and that would be the logo for the band. LOL

Sinfonia Dark sounds better and more original imo.

Sagittae Daemonis (that it's the latin for Demon's Arrows), the band in which I played had this name for 2 months then the members decided to change it as in their opinion it sounded very black metal and we were a Maiden's cover band mostly so chose Hand Of Fate (then they discover that it was the title of a Gamma Ray's last album too)
