How's this guitar tone?

I would suggest some more brightness to the guitars. very drak and solid, but lacking maybe a db or 2 in the higher area.

PS what guitar and amp did you use to to the lead test track on your soundcloud. sounds like an overdriven stratcoaster.. i like it

Thank you. Two tracks of Rat into Amplitube JHE/Fender, two tracks of Recto preamp clone into cab IR.

I need to re-do the drums - some of those beats aren't very fitting.

Sounds surprisingly good for a distorted Strat ! A bit more highs and it will really sound nice I would maybe also take out some low-mids from the guitar and turn them up on the bass...

There's nothing wrong with the drum beats imo, except that the hihat doesn't sound very natural - but programming hihats is always a tough job !

Thanks! But not a strat for this - he was asking about another track. The guitar for the OP track is a 1980 Ibanez semi-hollow with humbuckers.
