Vertigo: please find a time zone converter for you in the net, I think that is easiest. And aswell, you have a logical mistake in your question : When it is midnight in Australia, it is NOT in Sweden!! Every hour exists just once!! But we give them different names/values due to the timezones. See?
When it is midnight in Sweden, it is past midnight in Australia and before midnight in Canada, because the sun goes from east to west over the earth (or rather the earth circles in real, but that way is easier to imagine ;D)
So, but the mails for the competition are counted in Dan´s timezone, so no-one is in advance to anyone from an earlier timezone.
