Keeping on the topic of my own state of complete and utter confusion, can anyone tell me why Samoth gives his 'emperial hails and respect' to Slim Shady in the thank-you's of the Prometheus album?

I stopped listening to emperor when I heard they weren't going to tour anymore because they had lots of side projects to attend
so why listen to a band if you know you'll never see em live?
besides I don't like black metal anymore

heh. well yeah,but with zeppelin or hendrix you know you will never see them live but with a band that you have the chance and you want to see them live,one day they say: we are not gonna tour anymore because we have lame side projects that go first that our main really good band.
