Humidifier on the studio

Probably a dumb question, but is there a problem putting a humidifier on the studio? Air here is very dry and the air conditioner isn´t making things any better, but I wonder if the water mist of the humidifier can damage the monitors or something.

It might cause issues with mics and stuff. I know with cabs and stuff if the humidity is too high it takes on a bit different tone before the tubes get all the way warmed up.
