It was more of a "HA HA ERIK CHECKED OUT A BAND THINKING IT WOULD SOUND LIKE ULVER AND ESOTERIC AND GOT -CORED".

To the untrained ear most of the bands I like would sound like Neurosis, Isis, Cult of Luna, etc.

Just like most of the bands you like sound like Mayhem, Darkthrone, Katatonia, or Paradise Lost to me.
