Hyping a rivalry which doesn't actually exist

hah, actually, I have done live-action roleplaying before. nothing like what is being posted, of course, but murder-mystery type shit with cthulhuy undertones. but i definitely knew kids who spent every weekend all dressed up and shit. a friend of mine coined a term--"BLW"--to describe them (an acronym for....um....Blubbery Larp Women) because they got flattered when we referred to them as goth-bunnies, and he'd do this seal noise and go LARP LARP LARP and slap his hands together when they were around.
 
I've never heard of LARP either. And I don't even understand any of these other nerd games. I guess that makes me cooler than I used to think I was. So this has been a positive experience.
