I am better than Joey Sturgis

My serious opinion is that the guitar tone is balls and the drums have no life at all, and that you've introduced yourself in the most horrible of ways possible short of posting a mugshot for pedophilia related offenses.

Oh guys... Don't take the title so serious... :) I know that Joey farts better than this mix.
Anyway thanks Jeff, I need every opinions to improve this, 'cause it will be on our EP in this summer. Could you tell me please some tips to turn these things a bit better?
Drums are made from samples that I found all around here, but I'm not satisfied with it, I'm thinking of buying SSD, that would maybe improve them.
Some EQ tips on the guitars?

Drums:
- faderhead tama starclassic kick
- behindert "a snare"
- behindert toms
- Masterwork_Prototype_18_CrashRide
- Z15CrashA3Stk1ff2(s)
- HH3 hihat from unsorted folder 1

Drums are recorded with a basic electric drumkit so yeah, they are totally quantized/programmed.
Guitars and vocals are recorded with Line6 UX1 with an Ibanez guitar and an SM58.
Guitar tone is based on "the Joey preset" so noisegate->screamer->cali diamond plate->treadplate cab. I have a really bit multiband eq on the lows. Eq is really basic on guitars, just cut out some fizz, so don't expect any radical. :/

Haha, thx drope!
I feel the same, I should make a little bit more space for the vocals and maybe kill some of it around 5-600.
Also I don't feel that the guitars would be that bad, but of course it's worth a shot to make it better, if anyone has a good idea. :)

Snare is a bit too forward for to my ears, I would put give the toms a bit more body, maybe play around with the low mids?

Try your Podfarm with some impulses instead maybe that will help?

Thats all I got cause I'm listening through crappy headphones

Thanks, really useful tips! I downloaded some free impulses, so I will do an update after I have more time to try it.
Anyway, the full mix done through a Shure SRH-440 headphone, so if someone could listen it on a nice monitor that would be really helpful. :)

Snare A is probably my favorite snare sample, I have to avoid using it on every production I do, lol. The mix is okay, I'm not a big fan of the POD thing though.
