i am so excited about the snow

We rarely get snow, at least not of the white, pretty variety.

Mostly we get nasty chilly rain (like today) with ice mixed in now and then for good measure.

i love ice fishing. we used to go a lot when i was a kid, somewhere my dad still has this giant 8 foot iron spear for chipping holes in the ice.

Yeah, snow. I think it comes in spray cans in Cali, but around here it comes from the sky for free.
