Funny enough, when I created a win98 machine, it ran sluggish and riven had no sound. When I made a winxp machine, it ran smooth and sound was almost perfect figures.

More polished (you're not just walking around randomly going in and out of ages solving puzzles along the way, stuff seem to have a purpose), and tougher. Way tougher.

Touché, but I've got no choice. Can't use linux because it sucks, and xp won't recognize my hard drive. Plus, I've got a 64 bit processor which I'd want to get the most of.

Anyway, vista is ok. Extremely heavy, but it's way more stable and more secure than xp. Too much eye candy though ¬¬
