If you hadn't used RPGmaker your game would probably compress down to 2 megs or so. Unless you're using mp3s and large avi animations. This is where avi complains about people stealing his soul.
Hahaha I'm neither a goth or a LARPer. Anyway I'll send you an IM later on man. As for the Final Fantasy series.. yes definitely awesome. For sentimental reasons FF4 (2 in USA) is my favorite.. being a little kid it was awesome for me when Cecil became a Paladin. Though of course FF3 has the best story. I'm really not into newer consoles past SNES and Sega.
Best RPGs of all time IMO are the two Lunar's for the SegaCD.
Best RPG...pen and paper D&D, how it should be played . Plus I think MUDing is so much more fun..although alot graphic rpgs are good too e.g Phantasy Star Series, Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale, Final Fantasy Series, Shining Force Series. Some online RPGs are good as well, Asheron's Call...It's fun once you get into the quests and stuff without worrying about levelling up...which takes a long while.
brandon, did the download finish last night before i forgot and shut down my computer? if not i'll resume it next time you catch me online in the evening.
Actually I don't think it did because it told me that it was a corrupt file when I tried to unzip it this morning and trying to open it in zSNES made it crash. As for MUDs. Hahahah... I was incredibly obsessed with them all through middle school.. from about sixth to eighth grade I would wake up every morning at four am before school and play them. Get home and play them. Then at the end of eighth grade I started dating so I guess girls replaced my text based online role-playing.
Man MUDs were awesome. I think besides custom ones of course my favorite code base to play on was maybe ROM. Though I had a little Godwars period... which is kind of good and kind of bad depending on how you look at it.
