yikes!
well if it's any consolation, rita is 115 pounds. (she used to be almost 150!!! total lard ass!)
but yea. she's only 4 years old and she's got evil paws too.
yeah, we realized this, so our little japanese chin is completely trim and healthy.
the fat guy rules though. He's like 12 years old and really lazy....and when he wants to play it looks like that retarted fat kid in elementary school that would try to play two hand touch football, but he was so slow and fat that he'd usually be on the other side of the action drooling on his mets shirt and yelling at his bike helmet.
the vet said rita only needs to lose like, 2 pounds more. so i guess she's doing okay. my last dog, vinnie, had all of those fatty tumors all over him, but they never caused a problem. he was even bigger than rita.
he once bit my stalker. GO VINNER!
since we started giving my dog bones to chew on, he has decided they are his RIGHT, and no longer a special privilage. It sucks to get up for work at 4:30am, feed the dog, and then have him bark at you for a bone to chew.
you'll have to wean him off that. rita used to expect that. then i started just petting her and wrestling her around when she'd bark for one, and she'd forget about it. but it took maybe 30-40 days for her to entirely give up on the idea of having chew bones all the time.
also, our vet informed us that all rawhide products have poisonous materials in them so we had to stop giving her those too, and now we give her carrots. she is into them!
