I'm very psyched about this bass, I played one and it plays like a dream. With Hartke roundwounds it had exceptional clarity while maintaining a great fretless sound, I can't wait!

You are getting like me. :kickass: Looks nice with the figured top.

I have a local friend who just scored a G&L JB-2 bass for obscenely cheap but it doesn't suit him. He is gonna let me test it while he is on vacation to see if I want it. :loco: :loco: :loco: :loco: The life of a gear geek.

The neck is about as slim as my Schecter C-4 bass but the body is smoother unlike the C-4 that has binding along the top edge, although the C-4 is a curved maple top similar to a Les Paul. This bass is very solid and the EMG's are very punchy. Metal can easily be played on this fretless, turn down the tone controls and EQ and it's great for jazz with a rich mellow tone. It pretty much sounds like a Rickenbacker crossed with a fretless P-bass, depending on your settings. The 35" scale gives it some serious bottom as well.
