Oh, and I've decided to start a Deep Purple covers band. Just need to find a capable bunch of musicians... thing is, I can't be bothered. Maybe I'll just wait for them to find me.

No, I'm the singer, so I'll be Ian Gillan/David Coverdale/Glenn Hughes. You can be Ritchie Blackmore and Tommy Bolin though.

We just talk about Maiden when there's Maiden news. It's like the NRL Footy Show (dunno about the AFL one) - it's main focus is footy, but it's very rarely talked about. And we have our fair share of tools as well.

I haven't heard JLT-era yet. I bought their first three albums at JB for $26.99 (box set thing), and got Fireball and Who Do We Think We Are at HMV for $15 a pop. God loves a bargain.
