thx Led...man, it never took much to make me "flighty", heh heh. I'm past the trippin daze now but it taught me alot about perception (yes the doors of perception reference used by jim morrison was so apt, aside from the fact that morrison was a complete asshole) and how I view things. there is alot of shit going on that you don't notice when you're straight. f'rinstance, I think the trails are always there, we just don't take the time to notice them.

let's see...the guy can get really into his science fiction obsessions, if you don't like science fiction you probably won't like Star One OR Ayreon. Star One seems to rock in a harder direction than his Ayreon cds. He also seems to rather enjoy employing singers to play various parts in the songs, so in a way it is very much like Tobias Sammet's Avantasia. If you don't like that, you probably won't like Ayreon or Star One.
He's also very influenced by David Gilmour in his playing, this is especially evident in the Ayreon stuff where it can get pretty spacy.
