If there are two things that I hate, they are undeserved egos and boasting. And when I see it, I shoot it down. I have met actual rock stars with less of an ego than this guy. My knocks on Jason have more to do with the way he consistently acts and the attitude that he projects on this forum rather than any one thing in particular. I just hope he can one day learn the definition of modesty.

Ya well there is nothing wrong with his post here. He's endorsed, and that's fucking awesome. I'd boast about it as well. It's not just a tribute to him, but to the whole forum as well.
Guru does have a big mouth but he's no troll. Personally I think derailing someone else's thread, as you have done, is a lot worse of an act than not being modest. (And actually I'm guilty of that often so I'm a bit of a hypocrite here).
I'm not trying to talk shit -- Arsis is awesome, you are a good player, etc...but I think one post is enough for you to make your point.

Dude, you have yet to meet me in person. You will find I am actually one of the most modest guys on the planet. That being said judging someone by the way they conduct themselves on an internet forum is pretty fucking dumb.
Hit any of the bands I have worked with, they will tell you what I am really like. This forum is my entertainment, watching wanna be and amateur producers tear each others heads off with retarded opinions and just general bullshit.
Of course there are some quality people here:
Lasse, Owen, Erms, Jeff, Yourself, and a few others, but still the majority of the posters here are a fucking joke. So my attitude reflects that. If you dont like it there is a little button down there that says ignore or block user. I would suggest using it.
As for endorsements, its about selling a product, which I do, which is why I do have so many. I play in front of about 8000 to 10,000 people a week from all over the world depending on what showroom or stage I am on. All of them get to see the products I play and quite a few get to talk to me after the shows or via FB, Twitter.... My endorsements are well deserved even if you don't think so.
Even the band you filled in for Arsis as far as I know doesn't play in front of the sheer number of people I do in a week. I would guess Arsis averages 400 to 500 a night on a tour and plays 5 nights a week? Thats about 2k...I am playing 1,500 to 2,200 seat showrooms that are sold out nightly. Not to mention if I play Freemont Street I play in front of about 10,000 in one night.
This is not ego Brandon, its fact, and I am not doing this in a :nah nah nah i play in front of this many people hahahahaha: kind of way. I am just laying out the facts and why these companies feel I deserve the products they give me / get a discount on.
Just cause I am not in a nationally signed touring rock band doesn't mean I don't put out the numbers. Playing / Recording for a living is the reason I moved to Vegas, and I am lucky enough to do it to make a living.
Understood. I know that my kinds of attacks aren't warranted based on just this thread, and that that kind of conduct is less than mature...but based on the way he behaves in general, sometimes I feel those things need to be said by somebody.
Look above, he is still trying to get into a pissing fight with me over who plays to larger crowds immediately after denying he has an ego. The moral of the story is, nobody cares to hear it! And that's my point the entire time! Important people don't need to tell you how important they are.

EDIT: Except one last thing. There is nothing wrong with posting about your endorsement companies, but do it in the EQUIPMENT FORUM, and make it about the GEAR, not about your face on a website. Not trying to knock anybody or anything in this specific post, just clarifying where I stand, and why.
