I just saw an old school arena rock style drum solo!!!

By that sweet ass chick that drums for Lenny Kravitz! I honestly don't remember her name, because she is never on the records, Lenny plays all the instruments on record, but she can fucking drum. She was hitting so hard at times I thought her shit was triggered. I haven't seen a drum solo in a few years, and the only other drum solos I've seen have been Peter Criss and Neal Peart - she was right up there. Oh yeah, Lenny was great too. He is such a "rock star." I love it!! He is like the black Paul Stanley.

Danny Carey does a some badass tribal type beats on Tool's Triad. Both times I've seen Tool they brought out the drummer of the opening act and he would accompany on a separate set of toms.
